I worked as Senior Game Designer for this game, focused on redesigning this VR infinite runner.  My vision was to have the ability to chain different moves together, wall grind to running to jumping to rail hanging to ground pound, all with very simple and intuitive controls that make it easy for the player to perform whatever action is on their mind in VR space.

I also designed a random generation system for track obstacles, and a touch node system to give a new traversal option with a parkour feel to it.

I’ve had an idea in my head for a long time about how I would do a Megaman reboot, so I decided to make a fan project version of it.  I wanted to make sure I was true to the original while giving it a modern feel, so I created a system to transition between 2D and 3D gameplay.  I see the storyline as being a futuristic Pinocchio / Geppetto story, so in the dialogue and theme, I’d explore the father / son dynamic, and Megaman coming into his own.

At the edge of reality stands a tower, filled with riches and dangers untold.  It is said that any explorer can enter and claim their fortune, but will they be able to resist the urge to take just a little bit more.  This action adventure platformer and match-3 mashup game tests the player’s ability to moderate their risk and reward as they gain new abilities and face increasingly difficult foes.

Off to dream land, our bunny enjoys the fantasy of being a pirate on the high seas, trying to climb the never ending masts of a sinking ship.  The arrogant bunny himself is that overly positive friend who almost comes off as antagonistic, but always optimistic and full of hope and ambition.
